A funeral for Sister Michele Sylvester, a member of the Bluffdale 6th Ward, will be held early on Saturday morning, Feb. 7. This time is being reserved to set up for the Funeral and Luncheon.

“Priesthood Commemoration” refers to commemorating the Restoration of the priesthood, traditionally associated with John the Baptist conferring the Aaronic Priesthood on Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery on May 15, 1829, and often observed in May with related lessons and activities.

The Annual Stake Priesthood Meeting will be held in the Stake Center chapel from 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. This meeting is for all priesthood holders age 11 and up. For wards that begin at 12:00 p.m., the meeting will take place during the second-hour priesthood meetings.

Calling all youth 16 and up, join us for Mission Prep taught by our very own Adam & Amy Ghiz and Austin & Mara Sorensen! Held at the Sage Building Every Sunday at 3 PM (Except Family Sundays).

Whether you’re planning to serve a mission or just want to strengthen your faith, this is an awesome opportunity to learn and to:

Become a more devoted disciple-leader by regularly assessing your progress in developing and implementing Christlike attributes in your interactions with your companion(s) and the people you teach.

Become a more powerful gospel teacher, testifier, and disciple of Jesus Christ by implementing feedback from your companion(s), district members, and instructors.

Become accustomed to sharing your thoughts, feelings, and testimony of the gospel with other people.

Become accustomed to studying, planning, and teaching with your companion(s).

Become more prepared for entrance into the MTC with its associated rigors (for example: studying, planning, preparing, teaching, and learning).

Begin to become the type of missionary described by Elder David A. Bednar in his October 2005 General Conference address: Becoming a Missionary.

Young adults (ages 18–35) are invited to gather to hear counsel meant especially for them from Church leaders. See events.ChurchofJesusChrist.org.

The Bluffdale Stake will be hosting the Special Needs Mutual Activity Program for the Riverton/Herriman/Bluffdale areas during the 2024-2025 school year. They will have access to the entire building, except for Bishops/Clerks Offices.
