Service to our Father in Heaven’s children is a source of great blessings to each of us here on earth. To facilitate that service, the Church allows each member the opportunity to serve in Church Service Missions. Ranging from 8-40 hours a week, for periods of 6-24 month, there are many service opportunities that may fit into your schedule.

Our Savior taught in Mathew 25:37-40:
Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?  When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

King Benjamin taught in Mosiah 2:17

And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God.

President Thomas S Monson taught us:

We are the Lord’s hands here on earth, with the mandate to serve and to lift his children. He is dependent upon each of us.
